Artist of the Month: Dorothy CancellieriMEET THE ARTIST - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2026, from 11:00-1:00 PM. Emotions and Imagination are expressed through a kaleidoscope of color in Dorothy’s artwork. The use of vibrant paints has always enriched her and left her with a feeling of peaceful happiness. Bold colors can’t help but capture the viewer when they enter a room. The figures, animals and landscapes come alive through the excitement and passion of color. The vividness of the canvases helps convey the story, meaning and emotion of the paintings. Ms. Cancellieri has taught art and yoga enrichment programs in elementary schools throughout Westchester County. She has been a member of the Mamaroneck Artist’s Guild since 1988. Her Works have been shown in numerous exhibits including the Upstream Gallery in Dobbs Ferry and the Brother Chapman Gallery at Iona College. |

Michaelmas EvensongJoin us for the Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels (Michaelmas) on Sunday, September 27, at 4:00pm. Evensong is one of the most beautiful and spiritual parts of the Anglican Tradition. Our full Parish Choir will sing Evensong, and Michael Moynihan - Director of Adult Learning will be preaching. Evensong is a sung service of Evening Prayer. Evensong has been offered for nearly 600 years in Anglican and Episcopal cathedrals, city churches, and country parishes around the world. The format for Anglican Evensong can be traced directly to the first Book of Common Prayer and Archbishop Thomas Cranmer who crafted it from the smaller monastic offices that had been in use before the Reformation. Evensong is often offered on Sundays or Holy Days. Michaelmas (rhymes with “nickel” and pronounced like “Christmas”) is the traditional English name for the feast day of Saint Michael and All Angels, observed on September 29. |

Pizzeria NightFollowing Evensong we are having Pizzeria Night! We will have a variety of delicious pizzas from our friends at Pizza Fenice in Pelham. We will also have salad, soda, red wine, and classic red/white table cloths. We are asking each adult to pay $10 to support the cost of the evening. Children and Teens eat for free.

Oktoberfest CelebrationOur Stewardship Committee invites you to a free Oktoberfest on Sunday at 5pm. Father Matt and Stewardship Chair Jeff Bodenmann (and others who are invited to help cook!) will provide a feast of Bratwurst, Kielbasa, Sage Sausage, Pretzels, Sauerkraut, Potato Salads, and Oktoberfest Beer, Wine, and Soda! If one the Yankees or Mets are playing in a playoff game that night, we will also show that on the Jumbotron in Hoag Hall, and TVs will be set up for any NFL Football games (and RedZone) as well. This event is free though we are asking people to RSVP, and you are welcome to make a donation to help cover the cost of the Event if you want. It will be epic! |
