Financial Update from the Vestry

Dear Friends in Christ,

I write with a financial update from the Vestry.

We began 2026 with a projected deficit of $65,000. To meet the parish’s financial needs, the Vestry has approved an $85,000 draw from the Endowment which should fund the deficit and any cash flow coverage for the final quarter of 2026. If you are able to keep current with your 2026 pledge or pay the remaining balance, doing so will help reduce our deficit and should allow some of that $85,000 draw to be carried forward into 2027.

2026 Pledge statements were emailed last week. Thank you for taking a moment to review yours, and thank you for the generosity that sustains the worship, ministries, and daily life of Christ Church. Please contact the parish office if you have a question about your statement. If you did not get a statement, we might not have a Pledge for 2026 from you, and it is not too late to make a Pledge for this year.

Looking ahead… our 2027 Stewardship Campaign will begin in the coming weeks. As we prepare for it, I give thanks for your faithful support and for all that we are able to do together as a parish.
