All are welcome to join and participate in any of the worship services held at Christ Church. Every Sunday there are two services at which the Holy Eucharist is celebrated. Special liturgies take place on selected Holy Days and during Holy Week, and twice each year the youth and children of the parish assist the Rector in planning and leading our 10 a.m. service.

The Eucharist is the primary worship service of the church on Sundays and Holy Days. It is also called “Mass” or “Holy Communion”. The service always includes a sermon. A said Eucharist lasts about forty-five minutes. A Eucharist with music lasts about one hour and ten minutes and includes well-known hymns, choral anthems, and organ improvisation. Rite I services are celebrated using tradition Anglican English (“thee” and “thy”). Rite II services are celebrated using contemporary/modern day English language. “Come as you are” services are celebrated using Rite II and feature a variety of instrumental music by members of the congregation and community. This service is not offered every Sunday, please see here for the next “Come as you are” service.

Prayers for Healing by one of the clergy members at the Bolton Altar every Sunday following both services.

Children of all ages are always welcome in church.  A great place for children to see, hear and participate is in the front pews of the church.  Also, childcare is available in the Nursery every Sunday during the 10:00 AM Holy Eucharist.

Church School is offered during the academic year from September until June.  Church School begins at 10:00 AM each Sunday and last for about 40 minutes.  After Church School activities, the children join the rest of the congregation for the Holy Communion.

Our Children’s Choir sings anthems or other musical pieces on Christmas, Easter, other Holy Days, when the Bishop visits the Parish, at the Christmas Pageant, and every Family Sunday.

About once a quarter we offer a “Family Sunday” worship service at 10:00 a.m.  On Family Sunday there is no Church School program and all of the children, Church School teachers, and families are in church for the entire worship service.  On Family Sunday children or teens read the lessons and serve as ushers and our Children’s Choir sings.
