Every year Christ Church raises grant money during Lent and Easter to assist one of our outreach ministry partners. This year’s appeal and grant will support Hearts and Homes for Refugees (HHR). This year we hope to raise at least $5,000 to support their work. We need your help and generosity. You can make your donation using the form below or by writing a check to “Christ Church” with the memo of “Outreach Appeal for Lent and Eastertide”.

HHR’s offices are located on the Christ Church property, and we have partnered with them in the past for refugee resettlement and in-kind donations. HHR provides assistance to hundreds of immigrants and refugees in Westchester Country and neighboring counties. With your financial assistance, we can help HHR staff by addressing their clients’ needs for housing support, employment, education, language tutoring, transportation needs, mental health, and financial planning assistance. Your donation will help underwrite the federal government’s recent closures to areas of funding that help those already in this country who are striving for permanent legal residency and citizenship. It’s what you do to help those in need that matters most. Our 2025 Outreach Appeal for Lent & Easter continues throughout Lent and Eastertide until Pentecost, June 8.
