SPECIAL BEQUESTS & ESTATE PLANNING

When preparing your estate plan, please consider a bequest to The Parish of Christ the Redeemer. You can make a contribution to support ongoing operations of the church or contribute to the endowment fund as a more lasting gift. Your legal counsel can help you refine the bequest language to suit your specific wishes for The Parish of Christ the Redeemer. Below are samples for your consideration.

Specific Amount for General Purposes
“I give, advise, and bequeath to The Parish of Christ the Redeemer, located in Pelham Manor, New York, the sum of $______ to be used at the Parish’s discretion for the general objectives and purposes of said Parish.”

Percentage Amount for General Purposes
“I give, and bequeath to The Parish of Christ the Redeemer, located in Pelham Manor, New York, ___% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, to be used at the Parish’s discretion for the general objectives and purposes of said Parish.”

Unrestricted Bequest to Parish’s Endowment
“I give, and bequeath to The Parish of Christ the Redeemer, located in Pelham Manor, New York, ___% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, to be placed in the Parish’s Endowment Fund, for use of said Parish’s discretion.”

If you do decide to include The Parish of Christ the Redeemer in your will, we would find it very helpful to have a copy of that portion of your will for our records.
