The 10am Sunday Eucharist at Christ Church is Rite II, meaning it uses the contemporary language of the Anglican Tradition. You can find this service in the online 1979 Book of Common Prayer here.  The 10am service lasts about 60-70 minutes and always includes organ or piano music and hymns. During the academic year our choir sings at the 10am Eucharist. The service is followed by Coffee Hour in Hoag Hall.

Children & Sunday School

Kids are welcome at all services! Nursery care is provided for parents who wish to use it (not required) during the 10am service each week. Sunday School meets weekly during the academic year at 10am - the children enter for the second half of the Eucharist for Holy Communion.

Choir and Music Ministries

During the academic year our choir sings at the 10am service. Children's Choir sings once a month. If you are interested in learning more about music, seeing our litrugical music schedule, or joining choir, please click HERE.

About the Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist (also called Mass or Holy Communion) is offered at Christ Church every single Sunday and on Holy Days.  The service is always celebrated using the Book of Common Prayer, 1979.  The Holy Eucharist is one of the two Dominical Sacraments and one of the seven Sacramental Rites in the Episcopal Church: Learn more about Sacraments here.

All are welcome to participate in the service. In the Episcopal Church all baptized persons are invited to receive the Holy Communion. Members of other Christian churches who are baptized are also invited to receive the Body and Blood of Christ. Persons who do not wish to receive the Holy Communion are invited also to come forward with everyone else to receive a blessing.

Live-stream

Our 8am and 10am is live-streamed every Sunday. Major Holy Days are also live-streamed. You can access the live-stream link (upcoming and also past services) here.
