 nd\, has long been one of the popular celebrations of the Christian Year i
 n many parts of the world.\nMichael is the patron saint of countless churc
 hes\, including Mont Saint-Michel\, the monastery fortress off the coast o
 f Normandy that figured so prominently in medieval English history\, and C
 oventry Cathedral\, England’s most famous modern church building\, risin
