A Quiet Day is a day that includes silence and directed reflection on a particular theme. We are pleased to offer this Christmas themed Quiet Day in the Season of Advent.

Father Matt Mead (Rector), Mother Meredith Hawkins (Associate Priest), Michael Moynihan (Director of Adult Christian Education), and Dr. Justin Bischof (Director of Music) will each offer reflections on the Birth Narratives of Jesus Christ found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.

  • Father Matt Mead will  examine the unique features of each Gospel's account of the Birth of Jesus.
  • Mother Meredith Hawkins will explore the Nativity in Visual Art.
  • Michael Moynihan will lead participants in a prayer writing exercise around the true meaning of Christmas based on the Gospel narratives.
  • Dr. Justin Bischof will offer an improvisational medley of Christmas Carols on our wonderful Juget-Sinclair Jack Hennigan Memorial Pipe Organ.

The day will include lunch and conclude with the Holy Eucharist and Christmas Carols. Father Matt & Mother Meredith are available for confessions during the quiet portions of the day.

Please register / RSVP below. The cost of the Quiet Day is $20 and covers the cost of food.
