INTERFAITH SEDER MEAL AT CHRIST CHURCH PELHAM DURING LENT
We hear much about the rise of anti-Semitism in our world, our country and our communities. In an effort to foster greater understanding and community with our Jewish brothers and sisters…our ancestors in faith… our Christ Church Adult Learning program will present an interfaith Seder meal, the same sacred meal shared by our Lord with his Apostles and disciples at their last supper together. We will be joined by a young practicing Jewish couple, who will lead us, along with Fr. Matt and Michael Moynihan, in the traditional prayers and readings, offering explanations and answering questions regarding the meaning and significance of the different elements of the Seder. We will then enjoy a typical meal of matzoh ball soup, brisket, roast chicken and wine, of course.
Tuesday, March 24 in the Library. We will begin promptly at 6:15pm with the lighting of the candles. $35 per person. All parishioners are welcome, but reservations are required, with a limit of 35 participants. Unfortunately NO walk-ins. Make reservations with Marie Main in the Church Office
